With the rise in popularity of 3rd wave coffee houses,  there has been a radical shift in digital media consumption towards these brands, especially by a younger audience. Losing the focus and attention of this audience was a challenge for Caffè Nero.

To overcome this challenge, we shifted Caffè Nero’s Social Media target audience towards a younger, more outgoing audience with a keen interest on coffee.



Highly specialized targeting coupled with a heavier emphasis on Instagram quickly produced results: Instagram follower base grew %50 and engagement increased significantly in a span of 3 months. With targeted ads, we were able to reach over 500K people in the same period.
